specifics, but stuck up for himself early & often. He is asking for

congress to leave all options on the table for us to do it correctly

Kerry is not asking for the authority to “go to war” like W. Bush

“kind of” asked for. If Kerry’s just asking to “launch a bunch” of

missiles willy nilly, no one should give them shit for power. But

if they have a plan to target Assad, assess the rebels, ensure they

are good, then aid them, “very cool” with that. But let us all SEE

what unfolds with what they’re directly asking for. A blank check

Syria is complex. ASSad(it’s even in the fucking name here) did

use chemical weapons against his citizens, & we did state that it

was a “red line” as in “do not ever cross”. Well, now we must do

something here. The rebels seem to want ‘Democracy’, but here

we must make sure that the “devil we know”(ASSy) is not better

than the one we don’t. We can’t arm rebels who will be way more

religious and extremist All Qaeda/Fundie style than the current

(Good advice)

‘regime’. We won’t go to war with them. We will either help them

(good rebels) by arming/giving supplies and aid to fight for their

own freedom, or we can go capture Assad making him stand trial

for his evil war crimes. Either way, it will never be a full war. We

can’t just randomly fire missiles willy nilly into there. It’d create

more enemies by killin good freedom lovin people fighting for it
